June Loves - Author
June Loves is a best-selling Australian author of over 100 fiction and non-fiction books for adults, and children.
June's books have been published nationally and internationally and won awards. Her latest interest is Life Writing and she’s taken workshops in libraries, the U3A and as an educator a cruise ship. (Stopped her jumping overboard.)
June believes everyone has a story inside them. Getting it out is the problem. The experience gained from her combined career as a journalist, teacher, librarian, educational consultant, and bookshop-seller helped her keep writers on track.
June and her husband live with Daisy their Scottish terrier in a seaside town on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. Their house has a garden with lots of space for caravans and tents – essential for stopovers for family, grandchildren, friends, and grand-dogs.
June spends many hours exploring the beach and the National Park while solving writerly problems for her latest book The Write Stuff: Tips To Tell Your Story and for her memoir – Working Title: Getting Published. 1954 – 2022: According to June Loves.
